China Railway Third Bureau and XCMG Group have always maintained a good strategic cooperative relationship, it is understood that China Railway Third Bureau Six Company has more than 6000W of pavement machinery assets, covering backyard crushed stone processing, finished material production, front-court paving and taking into account bridge deck milling, pavement cleaning, sealing, penetration, adhesive layer construction processes of XCMG complete sets of pavement machinery.
As early as 2022, China Railway Third Bureau purchased a full set of unmanned road machinery for the construction of the Taiyuan Northwest Second Ring Expressway. Six road rollers and large-thickness pavers form a "driverless intelligent construction group" to realize fully automatic joint operation, and improve construction quality and construction efficiency.
This is not only the first time that China Railway Third Bureau and Six Company have carried out unmanned intelligent construction of asphalt pavement, but also the first application of unmanned intelligent construction in Shanxi Province.
